These new (2010) badges are part of a larger set being produced to cover all years when there have been promotion playoffs in the league. This one is for the 1995/96 Division Two playoffs when we were knocked out by Notts County in the semi-finals thanks to a 1-0 2nd leg defeat at Meadow Lane. The badges look great and I look forward to seeing the rest of the Crewe ones in the series. Hopefully, the ones that get produced for our other playoff years (v Scunthorpe in 92, v Walsall & York in 93, vs Bristol Rovers in 95 and most memorably against Luton & Brentford in 97) will be done using the correct badge from the time as I have let the guy putting out this series know that he is using the new logo on this one!
