Railtrack Badge

This is one that I saw on ebay a while back. I didn't win the auction and I have never seen it for sale again so I guess it must be pretty rare. Railtrack were the sponsors of the new main stand at Gresty Road for several years and I have to assume that this in was produced as part of that relationship.

Crewe Alex Exiles

As a proud member of the Exiles (crewe fans living outside south cheshire) this is one of my favourites. I had 100 of these made by Mark Parr Promotions back in 2001 and we sold about 80% of them directly to Exiles members with the rest going to the suppoters club programme/badge shop at Gresty Road (and apparently these all got sold pretty quickly). We thought we would go for a unique design to incorporate the words of the club song "Blue Moon". Interestingly a few of these have turned up on ebay recently going for much more than it cost us to make them!

Crewe Alexandra Supporter Association #1

Old Supporters Club badge made by W Reeves of Birmingham. There is an alternate version that just says supporters assn but I have not been able to get hold of that yet. This is officially listed as Crewe badge 019 in the AFBC directory.

New round logo pin (red)

Small round logo pin bought from the club shop last year

Hull v Crewe 2005/06 Match Badge

Match badge from our only trip so far to Hull City's new KC Stadium. Looking at current league positions it might ba a while until we are there again! I think one was produced in the same design for the return game at Gresty Road but I have never seen it offered for sale.

Small shield pin (red)

Small red shield pin with the lion (without the football). Its not a recent pin but it seems to crop up on ebay fairly often.

Old logo #4

This one is slightly larger than all the other logo pins I have come accross and is also one of the older ones. It is marked with the makers name, Coffer of Northampton. This is officially listed as Crewe badge 034 in the AFBC directory.

Kit badge from season 2004-05

Nice kit badge of the 2004/05 Reebok shirt, the last with LC Charles as the sponsor.

Goalnet Pin

Another official pin, this time with the CAFC logo in front a goal net. I think the word Alex gets a bit of overkill on this one!

Old Logo #3

Another variant on the old logo.... this one has the red trim and the football club bit written upside down.

Dario Gradi 20 years

Pin badge produced by the club to commemorate Dario Gradi's 20th anniversary as manager of Crewe Alexandra (in 2003).

Old Round Badge (Red Trim)

This old round badge probably dates from the 80's and is fairly common (judging by the amount of times it crops up on ebay). There is an alternate version of this with a white trim (instead of the red) that seems less common.

New Logo Shield Pin

Shield pin badge showing the new CAFC logo that was introduced a few years back. The subject of much debate... not only does the the lion look a lot less tough, we also lost the highly symbolic railway wheel.

Old Logo #2

A slight colour variation on old logo pin#1

Kit Pin Season 2005-06

Kit badge for the Crewe shirt from season 2005-06, the first with Mornflake Oats as the sponsor.

Crewe Alexandra Forever

This one is a very recent official pin I picked up from the club shop at Gresty Road. It's pretty unique, if a little cheesy!

Old Logo #1 - classic CAFC badge

Very common CAFC "railway wheel" logo pin. There are many varieties of this pin of varying sizes and colours. Some have the football club part upside down...

My Crewe Pin Badge Collection

Here is my collection as of October 2008.

I want to use this site to share my Crewe Alexandra FC pin badge collection. It is continually growing as new badges are made and old ones are discovered.
